About Mike Galli

I teach early childhood operators what actually works in the classroom

Built across 30 years and 6 centers of family-run daycare experience. Calibrated against the country’s toughest state kindergarten standards. Taught by an operator who worked the floor himself.

Why I do this

Built from three decades inside the business

I grew up inside ABC Daycare and Learning Centers — my family’s daycare business in St. Charles County, Missouri. My mom Lisa founded it because she couldn’t find a place she trusted for her own son — me.

My dad Pat left engineering to help her build it. My sister Krissey joined the team. My wife Theresa became the Director of our flagship center. Our family operated six centers across thirty years before selling in 2023.

I worked in the classrooms myself. I taught the kids. I built the curriculum from what actually worked. Now I teach it to other operators.

Mr. Mike

"I worked the floor alongside the teachers. I wrote lesson plans by morning, ran classrooms by afternoon, and watched what actually worked. That's how the methodology was built — not from a desk."

Kids called me Mr. Mike. Staff trusted me. Parents asked for me. None of it was an accident.
Three layers of why

Operator. Teacher. Student.

I'm credentialed by the school of running the place — and now adding the formal credentials too.

Operator

Three generations of my family ran ABC across six centers and thirty years. I grew up inside it. The business side is in my bones.

Teacher

I worked the floor. Lead teaching, assistant teaching, planning lessons, running rotations. Whatever your day looks like, I've had it.

Student

Currently pursuing my master's in early childhood education. [MIKE: program + expected completion date].

What stays with you when you actually showed up

Drawings on the fridge. Cards from kindergarten teachers years later. Parents who still text. This is the kind of evidence that doesn't fit on a methodology sheet.
